What is the Cyber Resilience Act?

The Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) is an EU regulation for products with digital elements that are sold in the European Union.
It obliges manufacturers to implement cybersecurity requirements throughout the entire product lifecycle - from design and development to updates.
Among other things, IoT devices, embedded systems and associated services such as cloud or mobile applications are affected.
The aim is to ensure secure products so that they can be made available on the EU market with CE marking.
